Sunbeam Community Development Corporation's mission has historically centered on improving homeownership opportunities and strengthening communities through housing-related assistance. As SCDC restarts its programs, the organization is developing partnerships and resources that support households as well as the communities where they live.

Serving Miami-Dade County and Florida
SCDC's service area is Miami-Dade County and communities throughout Florida. Housing programs can vary significantly by county, city and funding source. HUD maintains a Florida directory showing local homeownership assistance resources by county.
Building the Next Chapter
SCDC has a long organizational history dating to 1989. Its renewed chapter is focused on rebuilding programs responsibly, securing funding, creating transparent application procedures and establishing partnerships that can expand access to housing resources.
For Community Partners
SCDC welcomes conversations with organizations that share an interest in housing and community development. Potential collaboration areas may include referrals, education, community outreach, funding, housing resources and program partnerships, subject to appropriate agreements and requirements.
