Homeownership Assistance & Housing Programs
SCDC is restarting its housing assistance mission, with programs designed around homeownership opportunities, closing-cost assistance, second mortgage assistance, and support for families with special needs.
Program status: SCDC is in the process of restarting these programs. Funding sources, eligibility rules, application forms, award amounts, and current loan terms will be published as each program is formally activated.
Planned Housing Assistance Programs
Second Mortgage Assistance
A planned secondary-financing resource based on SCDC's historical homeownership mission.
Closing Cost Assistance
A planned resource addressing approved home-purchase closing expenses when funding permits.
Special Needs Housing Grants
A planned grant initiative for families with special housing needs, subject to funding and final eligibility rules.

- Open enrollment when funding is available and the program is officially accepting applications.
